An endocrine organ in the neck is known as the Thyroid Gland. The Thyroid gland secretes thyroid hormones, which primarily influence the metabolic rate and protein synthesis in our body. They are one of the most important organs in our body.
Women these days are suffering from thyroid gland diseases. Thyroid diseases are leading among all the endocrine pathologies. They are steadily growing and can cause health problems to women. This disease can lead to infertility, depression and also contributes to increased cholesterol levels. Their excess or deficiency does affect other organs.

You start to sweat more in your periods than you used to. The problem begins when you sweat without any physical activity, and also you are not in your periods. You should better get your thyroid gland tested as its hormone production is affecting your sweating.

Another symptom that lets you know about the disease is gaining weight for no reason. You workout and follow your diet and your pressure is increasing, and then there is a thyroid issue. Consult your doctor.
Our body tends to retain water, and with the dysfunctional thyroid gland, it causes bloating in your body. Extra water starts to retain in your body making you feel puffy.

Losing focus and it is getting hard to concentrate, it is a bad sign. At times it is natural, but when the problem persists, don’t wait and make an appointment with your doctor.
Sometimes we get more active than usual, and we tend to work more. This excess jumping and running might be a problem. Hormonal imbalance causes it. It is also a reason for uncontrollable mood.
You always feel sleepy and tired even after the 7-8 long hours of sleep. Here, an extra hour of sleep won’t help you. It is the sign that there is a problem and it is due to the dysfunctional thyroid gland.
